Alexis Pattersun musical interest stems from his childhood. As a little kid he was intrigued by all kinds of music from Jazz, rock to funk and blues. Inheriting his feeling and rhythm from his southern bloodline, Alexis is a natural to fall for anything that contains funk and soul! He kicked off turning the decks at parties for friends or by himself just doing his thing. Innocently he got picked-up by the scene of Antwerp. Soon after he was selected by the ‘Young Talent Corner’ as the new upcoming Dj in Belgium and received radio time at Belgians highly mained radio station Studio Brussel. He was also invited by Red Bull Music Academy for a workshop. An annual international dj event where up coming dj's and producers get the opportunity to learn from professionals of the music industry. A career as a DJ was the inevitable result. Alexis musical mixture blends a smooth and refreshing groove of deep, electro and techhouse. Alexis knows how to play his crowd. He can hit the floor with an eclectic set, combining housebeats with funky groovy breaks and soulful melodies, Always creating a happy and joyful atmosphere. The Beatblenderz first release album was in March 2009 "SAS" also called sweet as soul on the record label "Punk'id records". Nower days they have released several EP's and they also appearing on compilation albums. In 2009 Alexis and DJ Zohm started a new project and produce under pseudonim of the smoody groovez. The idea was to get a new name which would give them the freedom to produce lounge music and groovy chilly beats. Also under the pseudonim of the Kick machine they are producing more progressive, tech-house.
